Have you seen Fantastic Fungi which has just popped up on Netflix?

Not yet, but my sister let me know about it last night. Can't wait!

Heres one for the train set enthusiasts

A photo that went viral has been immortalised as a miniature to adorn your train set scenery

The drama played out after a wild boar, nicknamed Elsa by bathers, stole the man’s laptop in a bag that she was likely to have believed contained food.
It has now been adapted into a plastic figurine set costing €13.99 (£11.90) and being sold by a model railway company as an embellishment for the landscape of a model railway set.

According to the manufacturer’s description, the so-called action set of a “naked man pursuing a wild boar who has stolen his bag – after a true event at the Berlin Teufelssee – including two air mattresses” – can contribute to the “realistic revival” of a model railway world. Missing from the set are the two piglets who followed their mother as she charged into a nearby wooded area, as well as the onlookers in various states of dress who watched the chase with startled glee.

I have now! Nearly made me burst into tears lol, what a beautiful docco

I play a bit of golf in my spare time... by golf I mean going to the driving range to smack balls into the distance... and by distance I mean about 90 metres.... I haven't really gotten into it tbh, but I like just hitting the ball, not sure if I'll ever graduate to the course proper, but anyway.

I'm a sucker for fishing and I enjoy doing a bit of writing and drawing in my spare time as well. I recently picked up skateboarding again as well to accomplish a trick I couldn't get the handle of when I was 10. Mission accomplished.

At the end of the day you've got to do something you enjoy regardless of performance. If I started obsessing over the number of trips I went fishless, or didn't catch anything worth bringing home, I'd have given up on fishing a long time ago. I think sometimes as adults we get drawn into thinking we shouldn't be doing something unless we're good at it, or can make money off it #sidehustle. Find something that brings you peace and contentment and forget about the numbers, or who is doing what in that pursuit. Most of us aren't going to be elite at anything, so we might as well enjoy our time while we have it. Good luck.

ive been fishing once in my life.

me and a few mates after a few cans decided to go fishing, and as i had never gone i was pretty excited to see what the fuss was about. we ended up deciding to go to hastings after i looked up the tides on my phone and saw that it would be coming in by the time we got there. so we picked up a slab and some bait on the way and get the end of the pier keen as mustard.

the water must have been about 2 feet deep. the tide was very clearly out and only getting worse. turns out i had looked up the tides for hastings, england.

didnt catch a thing.

Medically forbidden to lift weights? Why's that?

Is that the same for capital letters? :p

long story, but after a clot in my brain, followed by neo-vascularisation which caused an arterio-venous fistula, i take medication to hold off a resultant rise in intracranial pressure. weights tend to raise that pressure. too high pressure tends to cause headaches or worsening eyesight damage. only some slight damage to my eyes at this point, not really enough for me to notice but they're aware of it at the cellular and nerve-fibre level with lots of fancy eye scans. holding steady.
think i prefer eyesight to massive gains. but, if i ever go blind then i may as well go get ripped, just have to figure out how to deal with massive pounding headaches.

lack of capitalisation, just laziness, same reason i spend too much time on video games. think one day i'll regret spending too much time on them... but only if i stop playing them first.
