a touch heavy but has nice edges so minimal effort needed most times. feels really nice when it comes out the middle. love it

A touch heavy? That thing is a beast.
I'm probably going to look at a new bat this season. Any ideas?
If you have never had a truly 100% handmade bat, the because you are in Perth, I would go to Bradbury and have a look and see if it's your cup of tea. I'm probably on my last bat - but having spent time with Julian Millichamp when he was in Daylesford in Vic and being ther the whole time it was made - from selection of willow to handle shaping, (He's now in Capalaba in Qld) I wouldn't get anything but a hand made stick. Worth doing.
