Maybe you should practice articulating what you mean because what you wrote there is fairly ambiguous.

BTW 90% of players in the AFL are "definitely tradable" if the right deal comes along, so thanks a lot for posting you little catamite.

It is what it is: A list of tradable players. It's simple.

Cya guys, i'm retiring.

By all accounts Gaspar was nearly gone last year so he'll probably be traded especially since Graham is a similar player. Some coach might want McDud as they could see something in him......god knows what though:D

Butler is an interesting one, he is a quality player but I know from sources in Adelaide that the crows are very interested in him and Waters although I would never entertain giving away BEAU.

No side will trade a quality key forward to the Eagles unless they absolutely have to. Why would they?

Forget trading Gaspar, Wooden, McDougall or Adkins. They won't get anything better than a late draft pick (if anything at all).

If the Eagles really want to gun for someone, they'd have to trade a second-tier player with real promise, or runs on the board. Guys like Mark Seaby, Adam Selwood, Sam Butler, Beau Waters, Brent Staker, Chad Fletcher, Ashley Hansen and probably even Daniel Kerr would the kind of player that would have to be sacrificed. Well, probably not Kerr.

There's not gonna be a trade, so let's just put faith in the recruiting guys and look forward to the development of Hansen, Staker and Graham. Remember that only Staker has cracked 50 games, while Quinten Lynch is playing very well this year (blame the midfield delivery and a crowded forward line for not having more goals). These guys will develop. The trouble is, the midfield unit developed before them (Embley, Kerr, Braun, Fletcher, Cousins, Judd all 100-200+ gamers), while the backline has great experience also (Banfield, Glass, Wirrpunda, Stenglein all 100-200+ gamers, Hunter almost at 100, while Nicoski and Selwood are coming along nicely).

Apart from Chick in the current forward set up (except when Embley or another midfielder plays forward) no one has cracked 100, while Lynch is the only one into the magical 60 game coming of age bracket... Sampi is too, but he's not in the side.

I can see it now. Adelaide will offer Perrie for Butler.

Personally, I'd keep Butler. I truely believe he has the potential to become a star of the competition.

Sure we have to give up quality to get quality, but who do we get rid of? I think woosha would be keen to keep the group together, and not trade. It's a confidence thing to know that the coach isn't always looking to trade players.

The only thing I can think of is 3-way trades.

We need a list of tradable players.

Definites at this stage:

Wooden
Gaspar
McDougall
Adkins
LeCras

Hmm, not much value there. Perhaps Gardiner could be thrown in, perhaps Fletcher. Not definites though, particularly Fletcher who is very good mates with stenglein and a few others. Hansen is an option, but only if we get real quality in return

If we package Gardiner & our first pick (say between 13-16) for an early pick (say pick 5-9),perhaps we can on-trade that for a quality forward.
For a player to be tradeable they have to have some form of market value.

I'd suggest the market value of Adkins, Gaspar, McDougall and, to a lesser extent, Wooden is negligible.

To consider trading Le Cras is very premature IMO.

just back to the thread title for a sec
hawthorn will need a lot of convincing as they are in the stage of youth. they need to get games into young players not trade them off for a less promising player in dougs and a late 2nd rounder. theyve got enough potential in buddy to keep him. would need a classy or promising player to leave wc for hawthorn to consider it. gardiner at this point in time wont cut hawthorns mustard
