The rugby codes have the elbow spot, gridiron has knee downed, all have momentum being halted.

Footy doesn't define what a tackle actually is. Some players get an eternity, other times there can be a massive pack amd still its play on to the point everyone has stopped

Today we had latrelle pickett get spun around, get taken to the ground, and 2 seconds later get up and pass off for a goal.

Agreed. it is more than frustrating and needs clarification. I hate seeing players turned 360 degrees and more and not be held to account. Tackling is one of the most exciting aspects of our game and needs to be rewarded.
