this Question came to me when my brother and i were watching the first half of the carlton essendon game on telly. while i was enjoying the good man on man football my brother was spewing because it wasn't a high scoring game. and i was wondering what other people think about the game. i know that hi-scoring games can be very exciting but i like the first half of carlton and essendon match better

please tell me what you think about it

i don't really mind the way the game is played.

I enjoy watching the grace of players in full flight, showing of their full range of skills.

But i also enjoy watching the roughness of players getting very physical. I also don't mind watching a bit of biff.

The reason i enjoy Aussie Rules so much is because you get a good mixture of matches.
Some matches are in close physical, hard at the ball matches. Some matches are open, free flowing.

Say for instance in Rugby League, 9 out of 10 matches is just a physical war of attrition and it gets boring after a while.

For Rugby Union every match is an open game of running and kicking, and after a while it tends to get boring.

In Aussie Rules, you get a good mixture of close in games and open games.

Every game that Port wins!!
