Red curry using tinned tuna.

They use a technique of cooking pasta in a shallow fry pan of water rather than a large pot. That way you end up with super starchy water that helps the sauce cling to the pasta.
Doesn't sound like much but makes a truly amazing difference to the final quality of the dish.

Made Gnocchi with a sauce made from pork sausage, tomato, garlic, red pepper, paprika, chilli and baby spinach.

Baked gnocchi with bacon, mushrooms and spinach in a creamy blue cheese sauce.
It was pretty good. Also, I am fat.
Low carb John West Inferno Tuna cakes (tuna with egg, oatmeal and onion) with a side of sauteed broccoli.
After a 30 minute walk the bowels didn't like it much.
Homemade sausage rolls with homemade curried pumpkin soup.
Couple of scotches with diet dry.
Going to make a pesto risotto with prawns and peas tonight.
Trying to get better at making risotto.
Tonight will be making up a bit of a goat stew/casserole. Never cooked goat before so hopefully after a few hours in the oven it is nice and tender.
Just plan to combine stock, goat cubes, tomatoes, onion, egllplant, potatos and some herbs in a casserole dish for a few hours on low heat.

As in cubes of goat? Or goat stock cubes?
Will go to the butcher and get goat meat, and cut it into thick cubes. But have no idea of thickness or type of cut

Made the South american style chorizo from scratch, with pork mince and lots of chilli, spices and garlic.

Beef, polenta and eggplant bake.
Tried homemade sushi this week. Pretty good, and not difficult with one of those "sushi kits", but time consuming.
Also did a roast leg of lamb in the slow cooker. Garlic, rosemary, onion, red wine, beef stock. Was good, but an extra hour wouldve made it even softer and more garlic and rosemary more flavoursome.
Tonight, a south african bobotie, which looks to just be a spiced mince mix with a layer of baked egg over the top.
