We made gnocchi from scratch.

Had a bucket of potatoes we needed to use up.

The turned out really nice.

We're thinkikng of trying to make sweet potato and carrot gnocchi next.

Ive done it with pumpkin too when I had heaps

I just steamed and froze potatoes today had too many and they were nearly ready to sprout.

Lunch was burgers (pineapple cheese and onion) and some of the potatoes done as oven chips
 
Having left over Chilli Con Carne today made a big batch a few weeks back.... have got 3 meals out of it
Cubed chuck and minced pork, lots of kidney beans ...delicious
 
A mate did a fishing charter somewhere so i got some.this is a spanish mackerel and tomato curry .also the same mackerel with green pawpaw salad

Got a vegetarian neighbour who cant cook so i made cauliflower steak ,egg,sweet potato chips and beetroot hummus

Ive got a few paw paws ready to go in a few weeks (still about grapefruit size) can get my Spanish mackerel pretty easy here too.
I will give this a go
 
I usually do it with prawns but love it
Just wait for my paw paws and have my own limes too
My lime tree is too young atm but my paw paws are ready. Small tho.my neighbours are big!
I dont mind chucking the dried anchovies(ikan bulis) in the salad too sometimes

Looks great! Nothing beats fresh pasta, the texture alone is worth the effort.
Is that grated pecorino on top?

Another pizza I know but the tomatoes at the market were so awesome I had to.
A whole bunch of Aussie garlic, EVO and parsley from the garden on this.
I have been messing with pizza dough a bit and have found that letting the dough slowly proof in the fridge in a Tupperware container for 2-3 days makes a really well flavoured and complex dough.
I do 2 days
have a dough ball in there for Oaks day on Thursday

I had the Ottoman invaders version
Lamb kebabs with green beans (Zeytinyagli Taze Fasulye)
and cajik
