Man today hawthorn F.C really showed us fans what hawthorn are really about.
Hawthorn came out and won the game from the word go.
One of the biggest delights was Shaun Rehn He has really proven wrong, he may not have the attribute of Paul Salmon But can play as if he is a rover,
All I can Say is that The Hawks Will Go Far this year if they play with the same attitude as they did agisnt the hopeless Dees.

Congrats to Shaun Rehn! It mustve been tough playing against a first gamer.
The Hawks will go far this year if they come up against reserves teams or teams with only half a side in.

My serious prediction for the Hawks would be around 5th-8th. No higher. If youre expecting a top 4 finish youre dreaming.

Also, you have to take in account injuries. If Trent Croad or Jonothan Hay happen to break a fingernail or graze a knee you could be in for a long season....

Just face it you got hammered...and you are trying to put negatives in our hawks minds...sorry mate we are tooo good for you...Melbourne are intimidated to easily....when Schwarz was asked a couple of weeks ago on Football Feedback on optus vision about melbournes toughness he replied pretty tough....but when showed footage of the grand final when troy simmonds got ko'ed by little softie michael long and then was asked, why didnt melbourne players fly the flag?...he was speechless mate.... making up a stupid excuse like we arent a fighting team, that is hiding the truth behind what melbourne are... they are pathetic weak losers...dean wallis was able to smash up brad green and no one helped out....your team are ****s...they dont want to break their fingernails.....weak excuse of a football team....just remember one thing about the melbourne football club you would not in your own existance if it werent for our great supporters of this great club...THE HAWTHORN HAWKS FOOTBALL CLUB..we voted NO to the merger you voted YES because yous couldnt stand being inferior and weak...But as time passes nothing really changes your still weak and i can see melbourne merge with north and be called North Melbourne Demons because at least North has won premeirships after the 60's
so they should get first preference in the naming rights....

Its no secret, were not the most intimidating team in the comp. The reason for that isnt because were pathetic losers. Maybe its because our whole team are kids. We went into last years GF against a group of grown men with years of experience and we were intimidated. Our only players above 25 I think were Ingerson, Febey, Nietz and Schwarz and 3 of them arent exactly veterans. The rest of the team were in their first, second or third years. Maybe were not the toughest but we usually give it a hell of a fight. (apart from yesterday, which was ONLY THE ANSETT CUP.

)

And its not my fault some of our supporters voted for the merger, if I was old enough I wouldve voted NO.
