What do you think of Dane Swan?

If i remember correctly Grant was a rather average kick when he was younger but has improved dramatically since coming to the roos.

i rate Swan ahead of both Maxwell and Johnson.

Why's that? Johnson was runner up in the Copeland Trophy a year ago, and Maxwell is one of the more consistant young players in the team - look at his finish in the B&F - yes, a poor year for the club, but he did come ninth.

No where near a Grant.


Grant actually had skill and kicked goals.


Best kick to a lead for the Roos is Grant, so I wouldnt say he is a good comparison.

True. And Swan is a defender.

I don't remember that - I thought he was pretty accurate at Sydney - he was ok in the 1996 GF.

Always been a big fan of Swan and always will be. I couldn't believe it when people were mentioning him as trade bait, would be shocking to let him go.
