A lot of us have no doubt been loyal supporters of Fremantle from Day 1.
We have lived the highs and plumbed the lows and yet fallen short of the ultimate prize.

We have reviewed coaches, players, football management but still have yet to win a flag.
Where have we gone wrong, and what can we do to improve our finals record and ultimately win the silverware?

There are 17 other teams all staffed with the best football brains in the country all trying to do the same thing some of whom have advantages like more cap space, draft concessions, father son etc. you have to as many things as you can better than the others, absolutely nail your drafting & trading & have a big amount of luck with injuries.

Stop accepting mediocrity. Appoint specialist kicking coaches. Draft and trade players who can hit targets by foot or hand 9 times out of 10, don't worry about vertical leap, beep test, 20 metre sprint or all the other testing.
I’m not sure of the talent scouting or recruiting process but would have thought having mastery of basic skills would be a pre-requisite for recruitment.

Need to get our best 25 fit and on the field for most of the season. Do that and we’re as good a shout as any.

Been a problem for as long as I can remember. Injuries that is. Major injuries too.

Pearce, Ryan, Wilson, Taberner, Hogan, Cox, Hill, Lobb off top of my head is significant.

Agree but is it the ground or something the S&C are screwing up?

If and a big If we can have a back 6 of Pearce, Hamling, Logue, Ryan, Wilson and maybe even a Mundy or someone with a veteran cool head like Hodge has been with the Lions it would go a long way, means we wouldn't have to put players like Nyhuis, Duman, Carter, Cerra, and Hughes in the backline who tend to panic and don't make the best decisions.

I can’t answer that. Sometimes you do have bad luck. Pies this season having a horror injury run whereas Brisbane have missed significant injuries.

That said our S&C group do seem to have been horrendous.

So how come he was considered a major talent at GWS but here he seems to struggle at Peel sometimes? He clearly has talent so why doesn’t he perform with some level of good consistency?

Because at least we know they love the club
It is all very romantic to surround our team with ex Dockers but it doesn't really pan out, are the Blues any better because Silvagni is there? I, for one would not care if we had ex Eagles, Hawks (decent ones, not the spuds we have), etc if they brought a culture of winning and ruthlessness. When was the last time we entered a derby or interstate game (even though we have won some) even expecting to win?
