Mitchell and Ness specialise in making licensed throwbacks, which are of extremely good quality if you get the authentics (cost around $250AUD) - I’ve got myself a VC 1999 Raptors one which is ridiculously good.

The prices are definitely hefty and I don’t think the M&N Swingmans (which are what they sell at Rebel) are worth the $150 price tag but all of their stuff is good quality with attention to detail.

If you’re looking at getting some M&N jerseys, I’d definitely recommend the authentics over the swingmans, but at the same time, authentics have an authentic player cut so have extra length, whereas the swingman jerseys are standard length.

Actually got my Carter one tailored to remove the length because it looked like a netball dress on me.

Thanks mate. Yeah I've been googling and found a page that describes the differences between the screen printed retails, the swingmans, and the authentic. I'm no massive NBA fan, well haven't been for many a year, so not sure I want to be spending that much on one, but found it interesting that a company that makes reproductions were so expensive!!

Looking at the close ups though, the quality looks amazing compared to the generic ones you'd get from a sports store. Interested to see what the cheapo bali knock offs are like. My son won't care about the quality, but I will!! It's like he wants a new Eagles jumper, but I'm making him hold out for the updated royal with the sublimated premiers logo and Lendi on the back. No way I'm paying $80 for a heat pressed AFL logo and a blank back!!

2018 Will Schofield Grand final Jumper.

The GF logo on my Collingwood jumper has a lighter shade of blue whereas the logos on here show a darker shade. I would think they would all be the same or is it just camera and lighting.

Brand new they do. I got one second hand for under a grand cause the signatures were faded and the woman was selling all her ex husbands s**t. I had it hung on the wall for about 4 years. We renovated and I pulled it down. It was going to go in the shed for a while and I thought **** it, I only bought it for the patch anyway so why not put it on a legitimate player issue and display it that way

Got them made for $240 each. It was a company that did plastic holders for cards and brochures etc. I’m sure most places like that could make them

Yep...definitely the lighting. Compared my Collingwood jumper to a friends West Coast and they are the same.
