A few of Spanish national team match worn shirts that I've picked up over the years. These are from the Fustal team (five a side) team and can be distinguished by the two stars above the national crest signifying two World Cup wins as opposed to the normal strips which only have one star.

And here it is, 2003 Heritage retail jumper with tags

The bizarre thing about this jumper is that it was originally produced with just two stripes, similar to our 2011 clash, however they got cold feet and for whatever reason decided to add a middle stripe post-production. You can feel the difference with the outer stripes being sublimated, whereas the middle stripe has a somewhat rubbery feel (not too sure what process). Picked this up for a bargain considering me and Calo went 50/50.

PI used different material to the replicas. Also had reinforced stitching at high stress points, this is absent on the replicas.

I live up on the Gold Coast, when I went to games at Metricon this season, there was a huge rack of last year’s MW/PIjumpers, home, clash, indigenous, China game going for $80 from memory.

And yet people are walking into the shop on gamedays and buying retails for $120, it always amazed me.

In the case of north melb pi’s you can’t wear them ! I might bye a retail so I can actually wear it. Even a lg PI is too small

Two kind of obscure ones arrived today. One on the left is Cadbury Super Team 2011, on the right is Norwich Rising Star (93-99?). Any further info on the latter is appreciated. I found the two images below online, which is how I got the approx dates. But not sure of origins, I doubt they retailed them though?

I had been looking for one of these for 18 years. Got out bid on eBay on one back in 2001 (went for US$130 back then). Stoked to find one.

Not a footy jumper exactly, but close. A 1995 North Queensland Cowboys players’ media polo.


And the only picture I could find on the internet of a player wearing one:
Damien Gibson, meeting fans whom named their newborn boy Damien in honour of Gibson being the Cowboy’s first try-scorer.


I think this is a bloody rare piece of material I’ve got.
