I find pegs will deteriorate quicker if left out on line but leaving them in a peg basket in the sun does the same anyway. So unless you put them under shade or back inside it makes no difference if left on line or in basket.

It’s ******* annoying. It means he unpegs them all to take the washing off then repegs them back on, only for me to have to take them off again to hang more washing out.

I think bending right down to put them back in the basket, or dropping them, missing then bending down to pick them up over and over again is harder than just re-pegging them

We put our shirts straight onto clothes hangers to dry on the line.

I get up for work before the missus, shower, make a coffee and quick breakfast and out the door. Sometimes she'll get up when i get up, like this morning. Im in the kitchen making my breakky and coffee to have on he way to work, everywhere i go she is in the ******* way. She isnt leaving for another 90mins, do you have to make your breakfast/coffee right now and keep getting in my way, ill be gone in 5 mins. (we have different types of coffee/breakfast so we dont make it for each other on work days).

Meh, im either way on the pegs. I put them away and generally think its better that way - start from a clean slate the next time hanging clothes/sheets out. Annoying when there is 50 pegs on the line and you only need 10 for bed sheets etc

Re pegs. A dozen or so end up in my pantry clamping opened packages . Or holding bills etc together. Useful little blighters .

Yeah i have magnetic pegs from kmart. Big fat ones, they're great for bills.
