Was he injured or dropped ?

Would have made a great option considering the conditions. He's a great weat weather front and centre footy player since he played most of his time in the wet season.

Considering he was leading the goalkicking I was really suprised to not see him out there.

He was rested. He's not the fittest lad out there and he was named as an emergency and didn't play for Sandy.

So the tank engine has started then.

I wondered why we're all of a sudden missing some decent players.

What about the members who pay good money and turn up week in and week out to support the team. Don't they care about our entertainment ?

Rested ? Rubbish. What ever happened to match fitness ? I rate him not only to take out the Best First Year Player this year, but also the goalkicking award. But he can't do that unless he's actually played.

Rested. He's still young and his body has not fully adapted to the rigours of professional football. Add into the equation he isn't the fittest player in any case, he's going to need a break every so often.

I think its similar to Freo resting Palmer.

'We're'? I didn't know you followed us.

He was rested because he was sore. Not unusual in any stretch for a 1st year player.

You would expect him back this week. Its not uncommon for first year players to need a rest, especially if they've been playing every game this year. Dean Bailey spoke to MMM before the match and basically said its taking longer for Wona to recover after matches in recent weeks, so its just about managing the young guys on our list. We have to remember he is only 18 and shouldn't be relied on everyweek to be our top performer. That responsibility should lie with players in their 3rd, 4th, 5th year at the club.

Posters who follow other teams are probably concerned because of Fantasy Football teams ,otherwise why would they give a toss.

rested, he had to average weeks before hand as well. the break will do him good

Maric had been knocking on the door for a few weeks down at as well.

I think he was genuinely rested, hopefully we can squeeze both him and Maric in the team next week.
I think Newton is the one whose neck might be on the chopping block.

Maric will be given the rest of the season IMO, and rightly so, he was by no means out of his depth on the weekend. Terrific mark he took.

Maric won't play out the season IMO.

The club will have taken his school interests to heart and I'd be surprised if he plays many more games. I'd like to see him play out the year, but I doubt it.

I'd give Juice the rest of the year. The guy is a huge talent but he needs to keep his feet.
