After just watching that game what the hell happened?

I just cant stand watching games when melbourne are playing so poorly. Those set shots missed are just inexcusable! We couldn't cope with the size of the ground, and had no space to lead into. We werent hard at the ball and physical enough. You'd wanna hope Melbourne turns up to play next week, or the sh*t will hit the fan completely!

i know!!! also neita's form was SHOCKING!!! in the 2nd half, he must have dropped ever mark that went his way!!! rrr... they really pissed me off!!! it'd be ok to lose when playing well (although it'd still upset me) but knowing that they're in form, but playing badly and losing coz of it really $h!ts me!!! not happy jan!

it was discrasful!! i fully just about gave up after 1st quater and kinda got back into it when we were catching up. i hope brown is better soon and i hope he hasn't done a HUGE injury.

While today was disapointing, let's not go overboard here. The Swans are tough to beat at home & they got a lot more out of Goodes & O'Loughlin than they had all year. Credit to them & the Swans as a whole for lifting, Rocket obviously fired them up.

Our attack on the ball was good after halfway through the 2nd Quarter, shame we were 44 points down by then:confused: .

You are right about the kicking though some golden opportunities were missed. Our field kicking was ok but I thought J.Mac had a shocker today, some vey poor kicking from him. He's improved a lot I think & today was just a bad day for him.

The Forward line as a whole struggled today, Vardy tried his guts out again, but many of his leads saw the ball sailing just out of his reach too often.

Ox & Green were especially disapointing I thought.

Hopefully we can get Whoppa & Robbo back in next week.

i wish the others would catch on!

i have to agree, that would b e great if the otehr guys could use there brains and catch on to woeys skills and pick up some skills off him. If they took a minute to just think, they might learn a lil.

Well, I don't think we need to get carried away either. What killed us was our poor first quarter and a half. We just lacked that hardness at the ball and our skills were pathetic today. I really think Daniher was paying tribute to Neil Balme in his 100th game as coach.

Neitz did try hard all day, but just couldn't hold his marks. Green and Bruce had shockers. Vardy was our only winning forward really. Ox did nothing as well.

Our midfield struggled. Apart from Woey, Brown and Wheatley off half back, we just wasted the ball far too much. We miss Powell and Walsh in there. Hopefully Walsh is back next week, Powell will be after Saints game.

Backline was good, but just couldn't cope with the ball coming in their all day. Broady played really well on O'Loughlin, Ellis did well also when moved to Hall and Biz rebounded well with Whelan. Hall murdered Nicho, who had his first horro day in a long time.

Overall, we played badly early and it cost us. Saints next week should mean we go to 5-2 and our season is set-up!

true... just the fact that our skills weren't up to it pissed alot of us off i think...

yeah, next week should be a good one... if only i could go :( but yeah, hopefully we'll get over them!

i agree with adam and andrew. i dont think the game was a disgrace, we can't take anything away from sydney, good to see Woey keeping his good form. but, i think its time to get Robbo back, apparently he played alright today and kicked a few goals.

It was a pathetic start to the match. I was 1 goal away from turning it off. We got away with it last week, but not this time. The midfield was terrible. Yze was not his usual classy self, McDonald got the ball but his disposal was terrible. Bruce was useless as was Schwarz and for the most part, Green. Neitz was frustrating.
Anyone notice Barry Hall???? Nicholson was thrashed for the 1st time this year. Ellis did a fair job on him though.
Its good to see Woey back to his usual self and Brown just put in again. Wheatley was also good.
When we got going we were really good. But they don't maintain it. Silly little errors cost us dearly.

Overall we did not play well, so to only go down by 5 goals, where the Swans got 2 goals in the last minute was not a bad result.

Nicholson also got thrashed last week also, which is why he sat most of the game out on the bench. its DEFINATELY time for Robbo to come back in, you cant help but wonder what mightve happened if he was there....

aahh, don't say that!!! it just makes me more sad :(
nah, i'm over it... looking towards the next round...

Nicho didn't get thrashed last week. He was beaten in parts, but by no means thrashed.

Robbo will be back, hopefully Walsh will be too.
