what happens finals?

i was talkin to a mate who is really into motorsport and he was telling me the v8 race clashes with the finals week 1 and channel 10 have rights to both. what would happen there?

What week 1 final is this? If you mean next year why the hell are you worrying about it now?

Footy would come first if it clashed, but they'd probably schedule the Sunday game as a twilight game and forget the Saturday of V8s as the usually do.
