No,Headland would be in the pre-season draft not the National draft.

Well the National draft is the one that takes place on 24/11 in which all the young guys (Wells,Goddard etc) will be picked while the pre-season draft will be in December and includes uncontracted players such as Headland so he's not eligible for the November draft.

what would be nicer would be if Carlton lost their first two picks for salary cap breaches...

oh and their 2nd and 3rd round picks as well...

and also expelled from the December draft...

now that would be nice... maybe even better then nice...

If Carlton are guilty, and that seems to be the general opinion they should lose all their picks. If the AFL doesn't act on this prior to the draft what message does that send to the other clubs, IF YOU CHEAT TIME AND TIME AGAIN AND YOU WILL NOT PENILISED WHY NOT CHEAT.
