personally, it would be a toss up between Selwood and Thorpe.

If Selwood can have a good draft camp and can acheive some pretty decent results, id take him.

BUT

if he has an average draft camp, id take Thorpe.

Hmmmmmm. Well in an ideal world this draft we would love to have a gibbs or hansen coming to the club. However, if we do happen to be unable to take either of them, then i dont think we could go past gumbleton. Sure, we have a packed forward line and he is very kennedy-ish in his abilities. But the fact of the matter he would be by a long stretch the best available remaining in the draft. Im sure we could find a spot for him, or he'd be great for internal competition with the likes of Waite and Kennedy. No doubt this would raise the stardard accross half forward.

I have it on very good authority that Hansen and Gumbleton are at the top of Hawthorns list. They want either a true CHF or CHB, they know these guys are stand out KPP.

Either way I would be pretty confident in getting either Hansen or Gibbs.

Since the Carnival Gumby has played as much back as he has forward. I'd have no problem taking him at 3... although I suspect he'll go 1.

It was on Channel 10 news after a training session a few weeks back. I actually think it was leading up to the Carlton v Essendon match and he mentioned the so called Bryce Gibbs Cup and said that Gumbleton is a player they are seriously looking at. Could have been Sheeds and his mind games though but he did say it....
