Those pics of Langford and Anderson... wow, looking forward to seeing these guys play together for the first time. I think we will win another flag and that will be amazing.

I reckon we'll be getting a little bit more love from the media next year.
Absolutely unwatchable and unreadable at multiple times last year.

Also, someone making a David King video similar to that one from 2011 where he said the Cats weren't good enough and would get slaughtered by the Pies.

Mate, it's hawthorn.

Backline is crap
Rucks are cheap
All they do is play keepings off footy which doesn't stand up in finals.
We're just lucky the umpires loved us in 2013 & that Sydney were so far off their perfect games in 2014...

In 2015, I'm looking forward to seeing Clarko perfect the Trilogy.

2013 & 2014 were markedly different in how he was able (& for 5 weeks unable) to deploy our assets. I'm excited to see plenty of younger guys get early-mid year games as we aim ourselves towards September. I think we'll peak at the right end of the season, but it will also be the making of some of those young guys who will build the base & propel us to greatness.

To see how long it takes Frawley to get into the swing of 'the Hawthorn way' of playing, & how well the injured come back.

oh, & I am enjoying this beating Geelong thing!:thumbsu:

I'm looking forward to seeing clarko bring in some of the eighties guys to talk to the players about maintaining the excellence over a sustained period. Prelim, gf gf gf looks remarkably similar to 82 83 84 85.

Looking very good for an analogous 2015 to 1986 too.

Edit: replaced tlak with talk. (not sure why though, tlak looked awesome.)

We're 2-1 up on the '80's!

  • James Frawley - working with Lake and Gibson. Now the best backline in the business.
  • Jed Anderson - to have an injury free and breakout year.
  • Brendan Whitecross - to have decent run at it.

Nope, Stratts only played 15 this year including finals. I want him back to playing 20+ a year again.
Sorry, I should clear this up. When I originally read your post, I for some reason thought you were saying they're not far off retirement and would be good to get a few more games out of them.

Yep good luck getting through this defense!!

Looking forward to the continued development of Jedi, Woody, Liquor, Hallihan, Billy, Sicily, TOB etc.

2015 will be another success I think.

Aside from the obvious - winning - if I could wish for one thing in 2015 it'd be an entire, uninterrupted season from Rioli.

Sicily is a star in the making. Will come out of nowhere and surprise the footy world.
Wonder if the AFL radio commentators will follow the ABC VFL commentary and hum the godfather theme every time he boots a goal :D
