I used green a fair bit at school mainly because the blue and black always ran out on those 4 colour click pens.

I use black and blue indiscrimately. A blue felt tip was my first love.

However, many official forms/exams and such demand black pen. So even if black pen is not required, im indoctrinated into using it for important things.

I occasionally use red pen when studying, especially to understand key terminology. Only in small doses, not paragraphs of red.

Blue.

Anything that is word processed will be in black, so if you're writing on a word processed document etc. it's good to use a colour that is clearly distinguishable.

Red is for marking up changes, blue is for comments. Green is the colour auditors use so shouldn't be used.

I never got my pen licence. I just started using a pen when I moved into the next year group.

Thanks to all the typing I've done since leaving school my handwriting is now worse than it's ever been.
Same

In regards to the topic I use black. Looks more professional imo

Can't remember the last time I wrote something that wasn't longer than a form or some numbers. No preference, the feel of the pen is more important than the color.
