For sydney, it would be KP's, primarily CHB, then Shaw, then a tall who can play both ends would be nice.

I'm hoping with the rookie list places we have left we go for talls there too.

What does your club need?

We need pacy midfielders, as has been widely reported. We'll probably use our first two picks on some fast, skilled midfielders. Later in the draft, possibly a medium/small forward.

For the Lions, i dont think they really need a particular type of player, there is sufficient depth in all positions. but just for the sake of it, probably a very talented midfielder like Lappin and Black type (who can run all day).

We have already got a ruckman/forward in Ottens and a CHF prospect in Ablett, so that is two of our bigger needs adressed.

With picks 32 and 64 we might struggle to get much else. Hopefully we use 64 on Egan because if one of Scarlett or Harley got injured we would be completely ********ed.

I don't understand Sydney being so desperate for KPP's.

Schauble and Goodes for the big blokes, Bolton, Barry and Saddington for the mediums.

Hall at CHF, O'Laughlin at FF, O'Keefe as the third tall.

Roberts-Thompson in the pipe-line.

None of these guys are that old.

I would have thought finding replacements for Williams and Maxfield would be a priority.

Never mind positions, Richmond generally need some talent!

I would suggest our early picks will go on class midfielders, KPP and a developing ruckman.

Sydney already has replacement for Williams and Maxfield in the pipeline - Schmidt and Willoughby from last year's draft, plus other youngsters who've already debuted but should be capable of greater contributions as they get older - eg Bevan, Buchanan, McVeigh, Ablett, Sundqvist.

Other than LRT and Mark Powell and at a pinch Dempster (I see him more as a tall flanker), Sydney has nothing approaching a KPP in the development phase, and even with these two there are still questions marks.

We desparately need an influx of tall kids with the hope that two or so will be ready to play major roles in 3 or 4 years time when Hall, Schauble, O'Loughlin are thinking about hanging up the boots. We may not get them all this year but should be looking to snare a couple at least.

Bombers:

added Experience and Skill in the midfield.
I think all our other needs will be met in house with better coaching/mentoring and improved fitness.

Again the draft might not even solve any of these problems, we didn''t finish low enough to get any really decent picks.

as for inexperienced young players I think we will be looking for skills and pace, already got plenty of height coming through.

need a mix of both. we have a couple of talls coming through and a couple of midfielders coming through, probably go with one tall and two midfielders again.

with our 9 picks.

2 rucks
2 ruck rovers
1 rover
1 centreman
1 centre half forward
1 full back
1 centre half back

all being under 23 years of age would be a positive step too.

Probably a tall forward\ruck option to replace Snake and be able to ruck if need be. Murphy is being groomed for the FF position but is probably a little young still to be holding it down full-time.

Freo will probably be short a backup ruck option this year, so we wouldnt want to lose either of our rucks to injury. We dont really have a viable third ruck at the moment.
