Need to amalgamate with Melbourne. Melbourne Kangeroos, can still be based at Arden St, considering Melbourne have no home. Just makes sense.

Well that would get rid of the odd numbered teams when Tassie comes in.

And save the comp having to waste another $100m on propping up a 20th team.

Can't imagine how much North fans are hurting ATM.

Being an Eagles fan is bloody tough but nothing compared to North. Never mind Essendon and rhe Saints.

What makes it worse is the flogs at AFL House come out and say "the game has never been better". Equalisation isn't happening, it's getting worse.

Should have gone to the Gold Coast but wanted to stay and be the smallest fish in the biggest pond and that will always be the case.

No longer a young inexperienced team, been given draft assistance, lots of high draft picks running around, four time premiership coach.

Gave away pick 2 this year for Whitlock in last years draft and what will end up pick 30'ish in this years weak and shallow draft.

Best to take them to the vet and put them to sleep, kindest thing to do.

9 years of Brady Rawlings ****ing up their list but sacking the coach will work this time, sure.

The midfield stinks, and thats what they've been investing in for like 6 years scarily enough.

Forward and defence has way too many holes.

As a general overlay, there are also far too many battlers on the list effectively acting as warm bodies.

Hard to know what to do.

I'd be genuinely interested to know what the AFL really thinks of this. They don't want anyone to be a basketcase, but if someone has to be, then the smallest least commercially relevant club in the game is probably not the end of the world.

If they're like this again next year then the AFL needs to step in and broom them. Put someone like Murray Davis at the helm and get a plan in place to get them competitive over 3-5 years.

Horribly trade, they would have gotten that potential "generational" KPP they should have drafted years ago in their rebuild but they've always prioritize the midfield.

It does seem like there is a growing chance the AFL is going to have to make a more permanent decision. It just cant keep going on like this. There must be pretty sombre discussions being had in AFL house right now.

I think at this point the AFL ready needs to look at either winding them up or making the merge with Tasmania.
They just cant keep rolling along like this.
Priority picks havent helped, the best coach of our era couldn't help.

The club is just too far gone to recover it now.
