Carlton beat Essendon without 3 of their best players so maybe we can do the same!
Look since the begining of the season i have been saying we can beat the Dons... and although now when we are so haunted by injuries that dream seems even more impposible you must remember that Essendon are too without two of their star players in Maccuri and Allesio (i think... i can never get those names right! ).
all i am saying is that although we are injured stranger things have happen and that while we may not win (although i think we will... ) there is no way we will let them thrash us.
looking back to round 13.... i think that getting thrashed by 98 points was the best thing that has ever happened to melbourne and maybe now, after going down and playing a shocker to the dogs we will come out firing and keep our chances well alive!

i may be optimistic but at least i have faith in my own team!

well i have never said we dont have a chance against the dons, and quiet frankly no one is going to rate us a hope in hell this week, which will be good. i wouldnt be surprised if we win. and injuries arent as bad as first thought so we wont lose all the 6 players that were injured on friday night, maybe just one or two.

Robbo wont have any fingers cos they will all be cut off. well finger nails anyway. (im not letting go of what happened despite what anyone says).

so yeah ill be watching (maybe depends on if they have it on over here) and ill be cheering. so as long as we support the guys and have faith in them we will be right.

im actually waiting for next week when they come to adelaide again (yum yum)

Very true. I have no idea how Carlton got over Essendon at the start of the yr. They were missing prob theyre 4 best players- Silvagni, Koutoufides, Allan and Bradley. That leaves only Camporealle and Ratten, really.(dont rate Carlton very highly)

If we can do another Carlton we've got a good chance of getting over them But I doubt Essendon will let it happen twice.

No one never not has a chance in a 2 horse race, but let's face it, the Dees won't go into the game with any confidence because we really haven't played well all year. IMO.
I just hope we are competitive.
I also think they should play the medicos and coaching staff because they aren't up to it..they'll fit in well at the moment.

I just hope the guys go in hard and show everyone we are NOT SOFT.....then I'll be happy!!!!
