No love for The Big Steal????

Much love. Ben Mendelsohn when he was still awkward, Marshall Napier nailing a Yorkshire accent, Steve Bisley cross-dressing, not to mention that every young fella (myself included) had a crush on Claudia Karvan after watching it.
 
My favourite is probably "The Club", because it is about Aussie Rules.

Graham Kennedy and Jack Thompson are brilliant in it.

Great movie and like 12 angry men I think it benefits from being a play first. Its a really interesting time in any sport, going from amateur to semi-pro to fully professional league. Plus rightly or wrongly John Howard's character always reminded me of Trent Croad's time at Freo.

For such an important world market for films we sure do make a lot of niche crap with zero rewatchability.
