We all have our demons, what are yours?

I feel I have been a disappointment to my family, not been the kind of person that I can be, with having a good job, looking after things round the house, I just personally a bit of a let down although my mum is just awesome and never makes me feel so.

Hang in there mate. Your life will turn around. Even if things dont, your fortunate to have your parents love.

Mine is I don't feel lovable deep down. Or feel like i deserve much. When you have been mistreated and neglected during your childhood it's very hard to replace that with lots of self esteem. So I try and be the best mum I can be so my child never feels this.

I guess that's my biggest insecurity.

Yeah I can relate to that I'd think- not for the same reasons you went into with the rest of the post- but the general feeling is the same tho.

I think I'm ugly on the outside. my gf disagrees with it and thinks I'm silly for thinking it, but I've always felt like that

A bit like the OP, i am not where i want to be in life atm as far as things i've wanted to experience and the stage of my career. just feel like I've wasted heaps of time. makes me feel a bit ashamed and it's the reason i don't like meeting new people or talking about work or Uni.

My career hitting a brick wall and thinking that all those years spent at uni and being a nerdy hard worker at school was such a waste.
