Because now there is no point as we have too many wins to finish bottom 3 and reap the benefits that come with it. Thought that was obvious afyer the GC win.
Didn't want to lose for the sake of losing which is where we are now at in the season win/loss and ladder position.
Obviously you dont know the difference between wanting a few losses for long term benefit, and then being pretty ambivilent whether we win or lose because the seasons shot but we also have too many wins to really hit the top end talent.
Also I am *arguing* about a decision made by a player who will play long past this year.
Outside that any normal pies supporter wouldn't be happy with eroding a 50 point lead...
