Meh, take it as a win. Because in honesty, it was. Let's be real here: we're a bottom-6-ish club who just played the best team in the comp off the park for a half, then rallied when it looked like we'd be steamrolled. Two shots at goal which were struck beautifully off the boot hit the left goalpost for us in the last. Adelaide only miss 3 shots after half time. A few stupid decisions by players who won't play many more games for us prevent us from icing the game late.

And we still didn't lose.

And the result has no impact on our seasons - a draw does our incredibly slim finals chances exactly the same amount of good as a win, since our poor percentage means we'd need to get in on points anyway.

And, lest I be shouted down for saying it - Adelaide are a really good team. We're not meant to be able to play to their standard, and we did.

If that's a glimpse of what our list can be, I'm happy to take the good and look past the bad. Because as stupid as some of our decisions late were (looking at you, Blairy, Maynard and Langdon), our earlier play was equally as impressive.

If anybody would have offered a draw at the start of the game, most of us would have taken it & ran.
Blair kicked a couple of goals & did contribute, but unfortunately he thinks he has the Dustin Martin fend off going on & it hurt us big time in the last minute.
Having said that we can hold our heads high today. Everybody expected us to get smashed. If you can stop yourself from analysing a quarter or so in isolation, then we were pretty good today. I know everybody will say we were 50 points in front & that's a valid point. But that same team got us that lead & they were pretty good today. When you're sitting in 13th place & get a draw with the ladder leaders it's a good result.

It was unprecedented, crows didn't miss a shot for goals after half time ( not counting touched on the line) we hit the post twice. Unlucky hey!!!
Moore could've sealed it with his last shot. Those similar shots the crows couldn't miss.

They closed the gap with more than enough time to win by 5 goals. That 25 minute period was atrocious and unforgivable, but given the circumstances you would take that result and on paper we shouldn't have gotten close.

If you listen to every dickhead on this board we should have lost by 10 goals today with how crap we are... yet suddenly a draw means we are a disgrace? A game of footy is 4 quarters, and regardless of what happened in the third, we came out level with the best team in the comp. We're really not that bad.
