How do you not change up the defensive structure when a side is just killing you over and over on translation? This was happening earlier in the year and came back again today.

Really let this slip in the 3rd quarter today. I thought we showed some great character in the 4th to wrestle the momentum back.

A couple of brain farts in the last minute stuck out. Things that just should never happen when the game is in the balance so close to the siren:
- Blair. Force the stoppage, don't try and break tackles and leave the umps with no choice but to give them a free kick inside their forward 50.
- Langdon. That kick absolutely HAS to go long and right to the boundary. If we manage to kill it for a throw in we win the game.
- Kelly's mark. No one even close to contesting it. That shit is completely unacceptable. It had more than enough hang time for multiple players to either get there and punch the f**k out of it, or body out players going for the mark. That ball absolutely has to come to ground.

What we needed was two contested marks. Not Treloar.

Feels like a loss.... but it was a great effort. The crows are a win clear on top of of the ladder, our captain and best player is out, and we held on for a draw. Of course it was terrible to let that lead slip but we shouldn't be on their level, so I'm still happy with the effort.

Our best player? Who's that? Pendlebury is not our best player anymore. Hasn't been anywhere near his best for years. Don't play the injury card. Crows had lever, betts and crouch out FFS. We were 50 points up. Biggest choke in 125 years. Disgraceful. You can't sugar coat it. The effort, like always under Buckley, was only there for half a game. It's like watching the blues and Melbourne from 10 years ago. They just had a losing culture. They had no idea how to win.

Clean start for 2018. New Coaches. New fitness staff. New recruiters if needed. Clean out the joint it stinks

Pendlebury is still far and away our best player - it's not even close. And it's not an injury card, I never mentioned who they had, the top side is better positioned to cover injuries than a bottom tier side with so few elite players.

We were.. 50 points up. 1 point away from being what? One of the greatest comebacks in vfl/AFL history. How you correlate surrendering a 50 point lead to being good is ridiculous.

I'm not saying surrendering the lead is good. I'm saying the overall result is good - a draw against the Crows is a great result given where each side is at. Most people didn't give us a chance, it's just a shame that the result came about the way it did.

Maybe I'm just happy that I had a gorilla on the draw?
