its still a while away...and we are mid-season with some exciting things happening (obviously the man jack, our midfield awesomeness) but i've started to think about what kind of player we need to get with our first round pick.

looking at our tall defenders...we have 3 established players that have been in the system for a few years in mcguane, moore and thursfield. mcguane does his job week in week out, but i feel the other two are a bit inconsistent.
most importantly, all of them are slightly small-framed for tall defenders. we lack a true, massive body KP backman.
and thats what i'm leaning towards getting in this draft, if possible...bulking up our tall defender stocks with maybe a talented, mobile but solidly built CHB.

if not available, we can continue to watch the development of griffo and astbury and hope that they come good as tall forwards, and maybe just go with another midfielder :D

I think we should trade pick 4 to Essenden for Hurley. That kid is going to be an awsome CHB. We should also trade our next pick to Adelaide for Daniel Talia. That kid will be an awsome CHB. Then we should trade pick 88 to West Coast for Darren Glass. He's a good backman also.

As long as we add some depth to all positions on the ground. I think we are all right for talls right now so only get one if they are a steal at our pick. Except for ruckmen, should pick up atleast 1.
