Kettle black.
It’s a thread about Gary Ablett.
Seems a stretch but I’d say that’s why his name has been mentioned a lot.

Buckley polled more Brownlow votes than Martin or voss at the same age, though.Michael Voss is better and also Dustin Martin at the same age has polled more Brownlow votes than Ablett
He's The Son of God.
Wrong at 26 Buckley only polled 76 votes Voss polled 91 and Dusty polled 134 Nathan no flags is not even in this conversationBuckley polled more Brownlow votes than Martin or voss at the same age, though.

What doe flags have to do with individual honours? And FTR, Buckley won a NS is a losing side, so there isn't much more he could've done.Wrong at 26 Buckley only polled 76 votes Voss polled 91 and Dusty polled 134 Nathan no flags is not even in this conversation

And Ablett Senior won one in a losing side, gotta be a special game to win one in a losing side, Dusty had a special season and he's up there with the best i've seen, but his GF performance wasn't epic like Ablett or Bucks. And Dusty won a NS in a winning side
It was better that's why he won and also Voss is the real Norm Smith winner from 2002 not BuckleyAnd Ablett Senior won one in a losing side, gotta be a special game to win one in a losing side, Dusty had a special season and he's up there with the best i've seen, but his GF performance wasn't epic like Ablett or Bucks.
If Dustin Martin played a full year as a foward he would kick 50+
Yeah i suggest you look up the stats from the 2002 GF and actually take the time to watch the game, it's a common myth what you're suggesting, but that Myth is pretty much based on Voss riding a Scott Burns bump and handballing the ball off for the winning goal to be kicked, Buckley shat on him and everyone else that day and almost singlehandedly got us over the line.It was better that's why he won and also Voss is the real Norm Smith winner from 2002 not Buckley
by the time both Ablett and Dusty turned 26 just judging by that time not anything after Dusty has had a better careerMaybe.
Ablett kicked 44 playing as the best midfielder in the game in 2010. Reckon there’s a sneaky chance he could have cracked a few half tons himself if he went back there as a senior player rather than a kid.
You still seem to be missing the point (somehow). You’re making this stupid martin comparison with a player who spent 4 seasons playing a position where you don’t get Brownlow votes. So Martin being the elite player that he is, absolutely should have more Brownlow votes at the same stage. Hell, Joel Selwood at Martin’s age would have probably had more votes than Ablett. It doesn’t somehow make him a superior player.

How about tackles? Clearances? Goals? Contested possessions? Oh and lets not forget, the Norm Smith medal.Voss did more with 26 than Buckley did with 32 there is more to a game than just stats
And who was one of the main reason his team won in the end?How about tackles? Clearances? Goals? Contested possessions? Oh and lets not forget, the Norm Smith medal.

Did i also mention Buckley was heavily tagged? And who was one of the main reason his team won in the end?
And the only reason Collingwood were ever in that game was due to free kicks and Brisbane's inaccuracy otherwise it would have turned out a lot like 2003 BTW how did Buckley go in that game?Did i also mention Buckley was heavily tagged?
And the reason Voss got to hold the cup up was he had a midfield that boasted 3 brownlow medalists and all Australians on every line, Buckley's 2002 side had no all Australians.
The defense rests. And the only reason Collingwood were ever in that game was due to free kicks and Brisbane's inaccuracy otherwise it would have turned out a lot like 2003 BTW how did Buckley go in that game?

Let me put it this way with Buckley you might win a few games with Voss or Cotchin they will captain your side to a premiership pretty easy choice of who is the better player thereThe defense rests.![]()
I know lol, Dusty is a hell of a player, one of the best i've seen, but he has a longggg way to go to be compared with Junior. This is what happens with nuffie supporters when their team wins a flag.
Dusty better career than GAJ? What the actual fk?
