What other teams don't you mind seeing have a win ??

All of us have our one side we barrack for but in 90% of cases we have other teams that we don't mind seeing have a few wins (provided they don't knock our club off).

for me it'd be Melbourne, Sydney & Richmond.

St. Kilda, for sure. 26 wooden spooners, one lonely premiership. So many loyal fans out there who are sticking with them despite this. 1997 was a nightmare. And now I'm praying like hell that they don't pack up and move to Sydney; that would be very sad.

I wouldn't mind seeing Geelong, Footscray or Melbourne winning a flag; it's been a long time for all three.

Share the wealth, I say.

I'm an Eagles suporter, for those who don't know....but I like seeing my fellow Western Australian team have a win...go the freo boys (ecspecially Shippy and Brode Holland).
Other than that I like Brissy and Sydney (coz Paul Kelly is a legend) and Richmond and melbourne are ok....and coz the Saints are not too good I like seeing then have a win.....just to put a smile on young Maxy's face...

None of them when it can affect in anyway how the Hawks results on the ladder may fare in a negative way, ie push them out of the eight, goea above them via %.

All of them when the reverse is true, ie keeps the Hawks in the eight, gives us a percentage buffer

On a neutral basis in finals (like for the last few years)

then normally the 'underdog' whoever it may be. Last year it was the Doggies, the year before it was the Doggies, the year before the year before it was the Dogg............................

If my team does not play in the finals I would like to see:

Brisbane,Sydney,Fremantle,Port Adelaide,St Kilda, Richmond, Western Bulldogs or any underdog win a Grand Final.

For the simple fact I like watching a club who has not won a premiership for many decades or not at all celebrate !!

The premierships for Footscray and more so St Kilda (1 point) are very special to the people who where lucky enough to witness the wins. because wins are few and far between !

imagine if the Bulldogs won this years grand final ? after 1956 they would bring the house down and the people from the west would celebrate for a month straight !

I'm sure, along with my fellow bulldog supporters, that any supporters of these teams would feel the memories of a premiership could do them over for at the next 20-30 years.
Chev1977 was spot on- except the celebrations would last for about 3 years.
While you have your Carltons and Essendons aiming for 2-3 premierships a decade, the dogs and the saints especially, just aim for one a century. Bring on the new century.
