What personal view of your football team do you have that the majority of your fellow supporters not agree with?

The AFL’s take on Anzac Day gets more tacky by the year and it’s probably getting toward the stage where I’d rather Essendon didn’t play.

(No it’s not about the music, it’s about the commercialisation of the event. It’s become little more than a cash grab).

There’s certainly some supporters who agree with me, but many don’t.

there's a reason you have no likes on this comment.....

we are talking about a small forward who has kicked 200 goals at two seperate clubs, played 300 games, and is a good role model / family man.

of all the s**t you could come up with about Carlton, that's what you choose? come on mate
I don’t give a s**t about how many people liked my post.

I’m not a fan of Betts. End of story.

As an east coaster, I've never been to a home Eagles game, therefore all the WA context stuff like the relationship with Freo, WAFL, member seating waiting list, media oversaturation and timezone telecast has always been a bit foreign to me in sentiment. At least 90% of Eagles games I've been to have been losses (the 2 wins I've seen were less than a goal), so my experience of attending games is long-suffering battler more than anything else, accustomed to floggings.

I'm certainly more fluent with the 4 NSW/QLD teams than most West Coast fans are, was more familiar with Redden and Lewis Jetta as an example.

I think my club is too focused on being a successful corporate entity and winning an AFL premiership is pretty far down the list of management’s priorities. In this regard, there are aspects of the Power I quite envy (not that their approach has them any closer to a flag).
Interesting sentiment.

There's been times when I've leaned the other way about us. More that our start up biased resources into onfield success too much. The Crows are on a rock solid fiundation while we're still putting down down roots is the difference I guess.

Can't argue that a flag is the best marketing boost a club can get though.

Probably applies to more than just my own club, but I get annoyed how people think some players are 'untradeable'.

If the offer is right, every player can be traded. While I like that our club doesn't look to offload players as it keeps morale high and helps with team camaraderie, I still think that every player has their price.

Hard to argue for me. His last season with us is his worst goals per game season average since he turned 22. He wasn't right for whatever reason and going to Adelaide changed the trajectory of his career. Good for him. Happy for him. Doesn't mean we should have paid 500k a year for him.

The injuries this year will be a blessing in disguise. I strongly believe we will be a better side than 2017 by 2021, scary good.

Not my side but I`d agree here too. I feel like at times your 2nd tier players got out of jail due to the star 5 or 6.

Having them injured has kicked them into gear and realising they can't ride on the coattails if they want to get back to 2017. 2017 had contributors from 1 to 22, felt like at times in 2018 and early 2019 some poor performances were carried.

Combination of a wake up call and exposure for kids in a still winning side (plus returned confidence in 2nd tier players who know they are good enough) sets the long term Richmond side up well.

I think Leo Barry was rightfully paid the mark.

I think if anyone thinks the umpire should have been able to see the Sampi hold in real time amongst the pack, they are a moron and should be disregarded when talking about any umpiring decisions because they clearly have no idea how a game is umpired or they want video replays of every marking contest to find every hold...7 hour games here we come!
