You know when you spend all day washing clothes, stopping arguments between kids, hanging clothes out, washing floors, emptying dishewasher, washing dishes, rearranging and tidying kids rooms, reorganising drawers in the kitchen so stuff can be found, folding clothes, cleaning the kitchen, cleaning kids messes and stopping more arguements only to get told at the end of the day to '**** OFF!' by your wife just because you were looking at her? All of it means **** all when PMS is on the prowl and it can never be denied their victim.
Ha. Sounds like my house.

Ouch.

You poor thing
Usually I get the classical big toe gout. This time I have it on the big knuckle of my index finger. It's amazing how much it stops you from doing. Just little things, like texting with one hand and turning a key are met with excruciating pain

I'be never had it but my old man did once and I remember him saying that is is so painful that he could not even have a sheet in bed over it as it was too painful.

I know that's the most cliche comment about gout, but it is amazingly accurate. I've had it that bad a couple of times and I seriously have to sleep with my foot outside the bed all night. I've also copped it on the joint where the little toe joins the foot and that's pretty debilitating too. Its got to the point where I'm considering going on a prophylactic gout medication. I'm loathe to do so at my age, because it really means being on it forever, but it might be the better of two evils.

Embracing your inner hipster.
I'm about as far from Brunswick as you can get while being in Victoria. It pains me to admit it, but it's actually not a bad drink. If it also brings pain relief I'm all for it. I'll even ride my fixie to the supermarket for the ingredients next time.
