3 years at $400k?
2 years at $500k?

More or less money? 4 year contract?

My thoughts - 4 years, 2 at $400k and 2 at $500k.

Geez, back in the day i played for a can of coke, and a couple of pies, so given he's slightly better than me, he's at least worth 4 cans, a 24 pack of party pies (not the mini ones), 2 hot dogs (supplies with onions and cheese), and a warm shower. He will of course have to pay for his own sauce.

and 73 new sets of sheets :thumbsu:

Same money as Lids, front load as much as possible.
As long as it is hugley front loaded so we have front loaded Lids, Cotch and Dustin then we can go after a big fish in 2012.

Also give him number 5.....

I wouldn't offer him these crazy numbers. Maybe 200-300k a year max. But put in a lot of performance bonuses.

You need to keep things in perspective. He has only played 9 games. What if his body can't handle the way he plays and he breaks down like Coughlan? We'll be paying him 500k a year to sit there and do nothing while all our other young players need new contracts.

Pay him the normal amount for a first contract, and give him bonuses for placing in the B&F, playing 20+ games, making AA etc.

Bit of a silly thread though.

i agree... give him a normal contract... if he wants to stay he'll stay we shouldn't have to bribe him with money... he'll get more of an experience playing for richmond then at the gws... he can have number 5 as well but thats about it... he shouldn't be offered heapps to keep him...
