I think he would be looking at a lack of pace with the trio that would be out and not too many speedsters left in the VFL. Contrary to current form, the Tigers aren't known for the highest of skill levels so maybe they will cough up as much as Clarkey will. Prendergast, Davies and McGrath will be in unless Norman gets a shot to play on the Tiger talls.

I think Clarke has played 99 games so maybe they will give him a game sometime this year. He has been in good form or so I here in the VFL so I think it might be ok if they bring him up for a game.

David Clarke is an experienced midfielder who's a proven ballgetter at AFL level. He's been playing well in the two's and in a team missing the above he could be a welcome asset.

Why would you bring in a player who can't kick into a side that is having trouble with kicking at the moment. As for pace McGrath, Walker, Wiggins and Simpson would be much more of an asset if used correctly. ie, not tagging or on the bench.

I'm a bit worried with Clarke being given a mention, but if we play him we have to put up with it.

He could play a blinder with his pace, I reckon Prenda is a worse kick anyways. Waite isn't the best either.

People mention McGrath as a fast runner, I actually don't think he is that quick across the ground...

Bentick > Clarke, everyday of the week.

Bentick has been in the best every game i think in the VFL and he did well at the end of last season so i think he definatly deserves a chance in the first team.

Bentick can't seem to get the ball at AFL level whenever he's had the opportunity. He's only young so he'll improve but we can only carry so many unknown quantities at a time. Besides you can't play Johnson and Bentick in the same side. It's one or the other and Johnson is playing very well.
