I'd guess we will keep our first and look to trade second, future first and players.

Unless a real high end talent wants in then we'd part ways with the first.

You’re probably right, I just think that traditional way of thinking is shifting. Each year draftees are better prepared and more ready to go straight away. It’s not quite as clear cut as trade in a premiership window and draft in a rebuild.

Don't mind this line of thinking. We don't need to get younger and the talent is mostly already on the list. Only issue is who we could get. Not too many big names out of contract at the moment.

I'm a cautious type and would usually prefer to bank our first rounder. There's always a player like Kemp that is a mouth-watering prospect.

However if Bains is fair dunkum about this I reckon our first rounder might well come into play ... and what we get in return could be pretty exciting. (I have nobody in particular in mind at this stage - that's their job.)

I don't mind it but they can be a bit too negative in general and find some of their views on the strategy and tactics side of the game a bit outdated.
If you're into the statistics side of things have a listen to the ESPN footytips podcast. They have a bloke on there from Champion Data so they do a kind of deep dive on a different topic each week. Good for general analysis too, not just statistical stuff. I think there's 3 or 4 of them too so it's good to hear different opinions and there's a bit more flow than just rohan and finey.

Will give it a go. I dont do footy tips so the title probably turned me off when looking for footy podcasts. Trends is a good one too.

I can see how the negativity can get you down, but I think most of the negativity is directed towards the footy media in general which is appallingly bad.
