AFL website have pitted Stringer against Dangerfield in there Versus series.
Interesting comparison that Stringer will not win this early in his career but still a massive feather in his cap to be compared to Danger.

I'm still smarting from Doug Hawkins losing to bloody Craig Bradley...????!!!
Anyone, and I mean anyone that lived through the 80's and can remember Hawkins and Bradley knows that Hawkins was by far the superior player.
That was just plain shithouse and wrong

Bradley was a fitness freak before his time - single opponent all day, positional game play allowed him to run around all day on his own. Good luck to him and all that, but he didnt have a pinch of hawks talent. They would have had to search far and wide for Bradley highlights that werent just getting the ball on the wing by himself and running and kicking it.

Have Bradley down as one of the more over rated players ever. Very outside. He could have run Hawk into the ground, but if Hawk ever caught him...

Longevity and fitness before it was the norm. Plus he played for Carlton.
Is there any wonder why he was massively overrated?

Stringer v Dangerfield comparison is similar to apples and goats..

seriously AFL wtf?
It is a little bit strange but I don't mind it.
Stringer has shown that he can play a role similar to Dangerfield.
That run through the middle against North had Dangerfield, Akermanis, Richutto written all over it.

What's great about Jake is he could also be compared to a star full forward, half forward, onballer... the list goes on.
