Damo doing his usual job of maintaining his impeccable impartiality when it comes to all things norf. His drive by of Collingwood is nearly as dumb as his integrity analogy in his Bulldogs if/then.

" Regularly doubted this mob in 2015" In a column of lol's this one really took my fancy. Damo probably had a bit of trouble conveying this thought to JB with his head so far up JB's arse.

If...
you're referring one of your players to the AFL integrity department over a conversation he might've had with his brother

Then
...... you're surely going to also, retrospectively, refer everyone who played a role in sending Clay Smith back on to an AFL venue back in May after he had been diagnosed as suffering a third ruptured ACL. Can't pick and choose when it comes to integrity.

Is he going for the Guinness world record "longest bow ever drawn" award??
Does he forget that Gordon is a lawyer?

Basically, he's questioning the ethics and impugning the reputation of our medical staff. Careful, Barrett.

How the hell is Clay Smith going back on the ground lacking integrity???? It may (debatable) have been an error of judgement, but it had nothing to do with integrity.

For your information Purple... according to the Oxford Dictionary, the word integrity means "The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles."

If you are going to pot our club at least have the intelligence to use words whose meaning you understand.

It's almost as if we literally forced Clay Smith back on the ground when in reality it was after Clay was given the integral bit of information that his knee was already shot and he wasn't going to damage it any further by going back out there.

Exactly. And does he realise that we actually did have an investigation into the matter, just as we have this time. We aren't even picking and choosing.

Of course he does, he has his league orders, smear the party with integrity and muddy the waters so it all goes through to the keeper.

Barrett is a master troll. There is no way that he can actually mean what he says, he just does it to create outrage. I knew that he was going to come up with some utter bullshit this week and he hasn't disappointed. You just have to laugh at him.

This is proof of what involuntary celibacy can do to a writer's mind

Triple M. Saying Pickering shouldn't comment on it. Also said it would be an enormous act of bastardy. Seems to believe it's of a very serious nature and that it was a very senior Hawthorn player that rang Bev, got the impression it wasn't Stratton. Said the details were of a very technical nature, not just that Talia wasn't in the lineup or something like that. Saying it probably goes beyond Dicko lining up on Smith or Stringer's role.

In regard to Smith, didn't he ask to go back on as he realized it might be his last chance to have a run with the boys?
Correct. Medical staff had assessed that no more damage could be done. The kid had hardly played in 2 years. He was the instigator of going back on.

Is it just me but does Danger seem like one of those blokes who really thinks he's funny but in reality just isn't?
I ask that very question of myself every morning as finish shaving. Of course I answer in the negative.

As for Clay. Its pretty classy questioning the integrity of a player who has just ruptured his ACL for the 3rd time and knew that he needed to get out on the field for his own well being.

Stay classy Damo!

Its embarrassing to be a journo in this country. We really do scrape the barrel.

Below is one of the worst pieces of journalism ever created:

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/a...529387751?sv=3447de6d99040216b14aff800034ad07
This one reached a new low. My first reaction was "who gives a s***?"

See what I did there?

Only footy 'journalist' worth reading is Martin Flanagan.

Really struggle to like Luke Darcy when he's on Channel 7 and he's not that good on triple m in the mornings either. However him being the major force behind getting Bev and hearing him tonight makes me happy that he's one of ours. He was getting pretty fired up actually. Barrett sensed he knew more than himself so tried to push further but Luke was smart enough to pull up but I think what Darce has done tonight is ensure that this won't be a quick sweep under the carpet job.

I can tell you for a fact , the medical staff had already told him he would need another recontruction and could do no more damage. He insisted he wanted to go on for his team mates.
Probably sounds odd for all of us non medical people , but that's what happened.
I got this first hand from his family. They are extremely happy with the level of care and support the club and medical staff offered on the night .
If the family are happy , that is good enough for me , so who cares what these media leaches have to say .
