Does anyone know where and when you can pick the tickets up from? It says Venue/City Box Office Collection of the ticketek confirmation.

Thank god I wont need to line up again this week.

Ticketek outlets or at the MCC window on matchday (and maybe through the week inside the MCC, not sure though?)

Relieved not to be lining up as well it must be said!

Got through straight away, M46.

Happy to pay $25 to sleep in!
I got M46 too - hope the MCC is full of pies fans this weekend, sounded like more saints last week although that is most likely the neutrals supporting the saints. There was a bloke the row in front of me last weekend who was wearing his essenson membership hat & was barracking passionately for the saints

the guy on the phone said you can get from the city - 225 Exhibition - before 11am Friday
You can also collect from Rod Laver arena for those coming from the surrounding suburbs.

Will be catching a train from work during my lunch break tomorrow to collect. I get paranoid the seats have been double sold until I have the tickets in my grubby hands, and expect to see someone in my seat when I arrive at the game.

12,000 MCC reserved seats sold out in 90 minutes today.
The later poster was right. My mate was next in queue at 12.28pm and they were announced as being officially all gone at that time. I was hammering it continually on the net from 12pm to no avail.

Seriously p###ed off. How they get through 12k tickets in 20 mins is anyone's guess.

As SJ said, it's been reported that there are plenty of level 1 and 3 seats left. It'd be dissapointing if we only get 95,000 because some MCC members CBF going to the granny.

Absolute joke once again. It's been a problem for years. A GRAND FINAL and they don't show. I don't care if they have a right not to show, but for a grand final it should be full.

So, I've been in the UK for the last seven years, and am planning on attending tomorrow (finally use that membership fee!). Does anyone have any advice on when I should be joining the queue? I will only be looking for a single seat.

You could probably get in as gates open (8:00) and get an okay single seat. Or get in at six, lineup for a couple hours and you'd go better still.

Enjoy the game!

FootyJunkie: The MCC does have such a deadline. The Grand Final is the only game in which Restricted members do not get entry entitlement.

This is an extract from an item that is on the MCC's website, posted earlier this week:

While club rules do not provide for Restricted members’ entry to the MCC Members Reserve for AFL grand finals, the club is mindful of its responsibility to utilise the Reserve to its full capacity.

Accordingly, a limited number of entry tickets to the 2015 AFL Grand Final may be made available for purchase if, in management’s opinion, the granting of entry to Restricted members will not compromise the comfort and convenience of Full members.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

What will happen?

There will be 8500 seats and 1000 standing room spaces available in the Members Reserve for Full members to access after Gate 2 opens at 8.00am.

The club will monitor walkup attendance throughout grand final morning and give Full members every opportunity to fill the Reserve.

If it appears likely that the Reserve will not reach capacity, a limited number of entry tickets to the Reserve to access walk-up seating may be made available to Restricted members.

Updates will be provided on our website, Twitter and Facebook throughout the day.

This arrangement has occurred every year for the past few years. Some years Restricted members get access in this way, and other years no access (I imagine 2010 and 2011.)

Such bullshit, that paid up club members try everything and miss out whilst MCC members can still just roll up on the day and get a seat.

**** I hope the MCG monopoly is broken one day.
