Just relax you tossbag.
I asked a simple question, and you respond like this.

You're a fool, and have no idea

And you are a serial troll on this board, personal abuse towards a Carlton poster on the Carlton board.....we don't want your posts here, don't come back :thumbsu:

Surely it's a bit too early for the draft talk to start...

Never too early for the draft talk to start ;). And as that Richmond knob :rolleyes:put it, it doesn't mean the cue is in the rack, like in '06, there are potentailly 7-8 standout prospects this year.

We need mids - super fast mid with exceptional talent. Stevo is moving on - we have murph and gibbs one of whom is biggish - the other slowish - we need a 16 year old Judd right now getting prepped.

Michael Hurley with pick our first pick, another tall KPP with our second rounder and a quick midfielder with our third round pick.

That's unless we only win four games and have another PP. :o

A few knobs on other boards want that, but it would be totally demoralising and self defeating if we get another PP.

Does Naitanui have the potential and the athleticism to develop into a KPP like Ryder?

I would look to offload Houlihan or Scotland for a late second rounder to get rid of one of those flaccid footballers.

Stevens is too old to trade and Fev too important.

Athletically he could, however, whether he has the footy smarts yet would be questionable. I'd play him in the ruck though. He's only 196cm, but the kid is a jumping bean.

Ryder wasn't that smart when he started playing CHB and handballed straight to Lance when red called out his name in a game last year.

Lance ran into an open goal and slammed it through. :p :D

He wasn't that hard either when he let Blake and Brown run free to take uncontested marks running back toward the goals last year.

But he learnt from his mistakes and didn't make the same mistake later in that year.

No reason why NN couldn't develop into a mobile KPP and fill out into a big boy when he's already winning the hardball according to some judges.

PS. Sick of having early picks in the draft, but it's still where we're at.

By the way things are going and my frustration just about to be shown, If we do finish the season with the spoon and only win 4 games or less, does this mean we get picks 1,2 & 3?

If so, we would draft Natanui, Rich & Hurley!

We would have to be unstoppable by 2012!

What happened to having to work for unstoppability. Honestly if we won games based on getting high picks again and again i'd probably jump. P.S is it possible to get 1 2 and 3 in any scenario? Not that i want that.

We should tank.

:D :D :D

On a serious note, how many quick players are there in this draft?

We need genuine pace as much as we need a CHF and another gun inside midfielder.

Was speaking to one director and one senior club executive on Saturday night - they said (half joking, but only half) - "Naitanui may be the best young kid in the last 20 years and Rich may be the best in the last 19"

They were convinced those 2 would go 1 - 2.

HBF or Gilly, what do you know about Aaron Cornelius and Tom Hill? Thankz in advance

Sounds like Cotchin to me :p

#1 -Hurley - can be groomed to be a bookend at CHB

#2 - Rich - gun midfielder

#20 - McKernan - Replace Josh up forward.

... or i'd just settle for a Hurley and McKernan combination.

How are we going to get picks one and two?

The Tigers will get an early PP this year.

I've only seen Cornelius at last years champs, but seemed to show a bit, very safe pair of hands, seems to be more Colin Garland/Jack Riewoldt size than Gumbleton/Sellar size, coupled with playing div 2 he might drop a bit down the order......probably a few now moved ahead of him like Hurley, Trengove, McKernan, Cordy and perhaps Vickery now he seems to be playing with more physical and mental intensity this year.

Don't know much about Hill other than he is AIS and another KPP that seems to be moving up to the 198-200cm mark... the trend seems to be the true KPP's moving to the athletic 196-200cm types that we used to think of as tweeners, but who are now athletic and can play the game.

Not so sure that any of the top picks have any genuine pace. Rich, Hartlett and Suban aren't slow, but they aint jets either.

May have to go further into the draft to really find some jets. Will keep you posted.

DeBoer?

I've only seen footage of him on Youtube, but he looked like a good runner and a footballer rather than an athlete like Russell.
"Hey there, I've come to collect Richmonds draft picks"

The AFL won't do anything to Richmond.

DeBoer is very athletic, a long strider who has good football speed. Forgot about him.....this years draft is going to be very strong and consistent through to about 20. We should get a couple of beauties again.
