Safe to say Melbourne have looked really really bad this season, after looking pretty promising for the last 3 years. Do we think it's a case of Murphy's Law this year, or was last year just a case of lightning striking at the right time?
I feel like it's more the former given they have had a fair few injuries and a lot of restricted off-seasons from memory (and their 2018 was far from out of nowhere, they were OK the two seasons before that), but it certainly wouldn't be the first young side to not develop like they should (look at what the Dogs have done since their flag) and lots of issues have been shown up this season. So do people think this is just an off season, or are they just an ordinary team that had a good run?
