I say leave on a high. Not saying he couldnt cut it at the highest level anymore (had a great final), but his body is failing him with recovery time ect
 
surely he will retire, he wouldnt want to play on whilst risking his knee injury and having to take continuous breaks throughout the season.

He should be remembered for his greatness and leave on the high of the premiership while we still remember him as a great footballer, instead of his body giving way and being sacked like scott west.
