I think this is probably the best move we've made in the off-season. Collo as part of development, just a quality man.

I really like the two appointments so far as Sam is still a young coach. He has scouted an experienced assistant coach in Hickmott, and a mentor in Collo, who both will hopefully complement Sam nicely. I wonder if he will continue to hire more experienced assistants with the remaining vacant positions.

I hadn't heard Andy speak before. He said Sam was grounded, if that is the case what does that make him! So down to earth and genuine. What an amazing coup by Sam!

I'm not sure whether Otten has been formally announced as Box Hill's coach for 2022, but I think the club decided to split Sam Mitchell's role into two and they brought in Andy Collins to replace Mitchell in the head of development role.
