Its Carlton Vs Collingwood Round 6 2006, Campo in the Black & White Stripes, Murphy in the grand Old Navy Blue Guernsey playing his first game.

The siren sounds for quarter time, Blues are up by 2 goals compliments of a stunning display by our new prize No.1 recruit, our new messiah. Suddenly A all in brawl erupts at the fifty, Punt Road End. Someone is down, F&%k its Murphy. Blood is spurting from a huge gash above his eye. Who's the p$#k that did this.

Suddenly Carlton players swarm to a man who once wore the Navey Blue. It appears Campo the dog has left his trademark kinghit on young Marc. Would you.......

No point in getting fired up over a hypothetical. Just encourages more anger and abuse towards Campo. We need to move on I think.
Good point ODN. This has Aaron Hamill mark II written all over it. Let it go guys. What is done is done.

Even though i'm disappointed he's left, given that he was in our leadership group, he has his reasons.

It's a bit different with Aaron Hamill. Hamill put his body on the line more in one season for us than Campo did all his career.

Simply put, but exactly right.

It just gives every single Carlton supporter a right to bag Campo now.
This would never happen, how would Campo catch Murphy? And anyhow just send Bower to play on Campo and kick start his reputation.

That sounds pretty good actually, even though I'd love to see Waite take a bigger leadership role and run through Campo.

That's the funniest thing I've ever heard! Campo actually hit someone and show aggression!!
You've hit the nail right on the head, Lukesta. Even if he did throw one, a king hit from Campo would be the equivalent of getting hit by a soggy lettuce leaf.

I don't feel like it is a question of what Campo does or doesn't do. I feel his decision to leave was a good one both for himself and for the club.

Carlton will be far better with Campo not in the side. His performances were not that good anyway and his attitude and leadership both on and off feild was also not very good. His victim mentality was a negative for the side.

In the past his performances ranged from very good to very poor. Overall he was probably about a 7.5 out of 10 player for Carlton. Good but not anywhere near a great.

I think we should all start seeing Campo with open eyes and not feeling like victims ourselves. He has gone, let him go without regrets.
