How would you deal with all the off-field problems around the club over the past season if you were coach? Obviousley you have to be tough, but how and who to (if one player slips up does the whole team cop it or is it only that 1 players fault?)
Thought please

Sweep everything under the carpet and blame the media (oh - hang on that's the traditional AFL approach).

God, I'm starting to sound like George. Gotta turn 6PR off.

Give Harding your spot in the team....that's an insult if there ever was one :D

Now that would really work! Player gets dropped for Greg, he xhuxks a fit and starts training really hard and yelling, GREG HARDING IS BETTER THAN ME!!!! AHHHHHHH!
The he gets his spot back in the team and plays hard!

I'd trade Daniel Kerr to Port :D

For Tredders and Francou?
Well, I dunno. We don't have any discipline problems with them. ;)

This won't happen but...

Would Eagles fans trade Kerr for Tredrea if it was offered?

No. Kerr is only 19, yet already most WC supporters would consider him among the top 3 at the club. I've heard some of the guys on here saying they reckon he will be better then Cousins. I don't think WC would be too eager to trade him for Tredrea (he IMO is overrated. He's lucky to have a great midfield passing the ball onto his chest).

No way it would happen but if the opportunity came up I would think it'd be a goer.

. . . If your son was at home crying all alone on the bedroom floor, cuz he's hungry and the only way to feed him is ta sleep wit a man for a little bit of money, and his daddy's gone somewhere smokin' rock now, in and out of lock down, I aint gotta job now, so for you this is just a good time but for me this is what I call life.

That is the response I thought I would get :)

So Kerr is worth more than the best CHF in the country? And Sabre gets flack for the same thing ;)

As I said, as good as I think Kerr is, if the trade came up the Eagles would take it (salary cap permitting).

There is no doubt the Eagles would take it but i wouldnt want them too. I like Kerr too much for him to be traded. Plus we have Doooooogs to fill the CHF spot in the future :)

On a side note, it was interesting to hear from Commetti in the Eagles away game to Port this year that Tredrea was an Eagles fan when growing up. His call for the Father/fan rule was great!!!!

Like I said, I believe Tredrea is overrated. With a midfield like Ports, it makes the CHF's job a lot easier. I'm not saying Tredrea is crap, far from it, I just don't think he's as good as his 2 AA selections suggest.

I really rate Tredrea highly, but i must admit I don't see that much of Port play so I guess my enthusiasm to recruit him would be tempered by that.

Does anyone know how he goes in big games? I don't think he did a whole lot in this years finals series.

I have seen close to every Port game this year, and even though I can't stand them, I reckon Tredrea is one of the best 5 pr 6 players in the comp. He marks everything, and his leading is exceptional. The only criticism I have of him is that he should sometimes spend more time inside 50 and his set shot is sometimes a bit dodgy.

I've had a similar opinion in what I've seen too. He is so quick and agile and has great hands. I don't think he takes many pack marks, but with his speed he probably doesn't have too.

Every club would love one.

Smack their bottoms and send them to bed for a half hour....
