I think I can sum up this thread nicely.

Murderous, streamlined killer dog, bred specifically for the purpose of killing things, has killed something.

Owners of murderous, streamlined killer dog (one of whom has constantly refuted any suggestion that the murderous, streamlined killer dog is a murderous, streamlined killer) seek to save murderous streamlined killer dog's life by removing evidence of its murder.

And what about the poor kid that doesn't have a pet cat any more? Stiff sh|t, huh?

I am a dog lover of the highest order, but those creatures have absolutely no business living in suburban backyards.

OK mocca wrong on all accounts as usual, stop with the soapbox hysterics.

Firstly the cat that I found in my backyard didn't have a mark on it, so if Kenny was responsible, it either died of a heartattack or maybe a broken neck, it hadn't been savaged.
Also I think you will find most dogs will kill a cat if they catch them in their backyards.

Secondly, that cat should not have been out at night, it is a well known fact that is when cats do the most damage to native wildlife, as well as the time they are most likely to become road kill victims.

Thirdly, the cat didn't belong to a kid, but a girl in her twenties who is on holidays in Sydney & left the cat alone at home with a neighbour feeding it, seems the cat wasn't all that well cared for, she will most likely go to a pet shop & buy another to replace it as soon as she gets back from her holidays.

I guess I should have mentioned that maybe a resident of the property had something to do with the death.
Better get your story straight people. If the kind and gentle Kenny had nothing to do with the death, why the big (and apparently very funny) commotion to move the deceased out of your backyard?

Secondly, that cat should not have been out at night, it is a well known fact that is when cats do the most damage to native wildlife, as well as the time they are most likely to become road kill victims.
Ah, so it's the cat's fault it got killed! Silly me, should have worked that out for myself.

Well, that makes it ok then. I might go kill a homeless man, no-one will care about him.

Because of ignorant , biased, people like you & I wasn't very happy about this thread being started, because I knew it would get some comments like yours, if Kenny had have been a German Shepherd or a labrador, your replies would have been different.

No it's the cats owners fault for letting a killing machine roam at night to ferociously destroy native wildlife. (See two can play at that game).

Well, that makes it ok then. I might go kill a homeless man, no-one will care about him.

That comment only deserves one reply, MORON.

Well, that oozes class, doesn't it?

Once again I misunderstand. It's the cat's owner's fault that you own a dog designed and bred to kill. Again, I apologise for the misunderstanding.

Yes, cats are killing machines. I don't like cats generally, nor irresponsible cat owners. But the same goes for owners of dogs who are expressly bred to kill. Irresponsible and dangerous, dog and owner.

I have a cat. Come to think about it, I'm a little concerned about this spontaneous neck breakage. Can you tell us some more about that? Is it genetic with a certain breed? They just walk along and suddenly *snap* they drop dead from a broken neck?

I'm going to have my cat's neck checked at the vet.

If you are going to quote me, please use the whole sentence, not just part of it to try & make stupid point.

The first part of that sentence was, "IF Kenny was responsible, it either died of a heartattack or a broken neck."

The point I was making was that it hadn't been savaged to death, didn't have one bite mark on it.

OK will leave you alone with Mocca to carry on with this thread.

Knock yourselves out guys, no point arguing anymore as none of us will change our views.

I can just imagine the conversation:

"While you were away, my dog frightened your cat to death. I'm so sorry, I'd like to replace your cat."
"Thanks for the offer. You any good at catching mice?"
:D :D :D

I've never made a stupid point in my entire life. My points are just made to look stupid by people smarter than me.

You have three choices:

Get the owner a new cat.
Put a robotic cat inside the fur of the dead one - quickly
Throw the carcass over the fence and play Sergeant Schultz.

Option 3 was my original suggestion from page 2.

Good to see some are taking this post in the spirit it was started it was a bit of fun people many times I have people say what they would do if they found an intruder dead in their yard/house with the way criminals can sue if they are harmed while carrying out a crime this event on the weekend just made me wonder what BF people would do but then some had to spoil it by being petty & making it personal.

I was asked to delete this topic since it has changed direction from what I intended it to be but I am scared of asgardian. :D
