If your significant other was talking on the internet to another person and that other person wanted to meet them, what would you do?
Would you let your gf or bf go and meet them, or would you be totally against the idea...or let them meet the other person while you secretly follow?

No, don't take everything that I said above as something I'm doing, my misses was asked by someone on the net if she would meet him today, she declined. It's just a question for what other people would do.
As for spying on my misses, would never do that, I trust her 100%.

Easy for me to say, because I don't have a significant other at the moment , but unless I'd taken out ownership papers on her I'd hardly have the right to stop her. And if I couldn't trust her, it's not much of a relationship.

If she was dead set on going to meet them, I would be sure to go with her. Just in case.

Well it depends on the situation.

If you know the guy only thinks of your girl as a friend and just someone that he talks to then why not let her go meet up with him??

If you know the guy wants to render your girl in to a walking frame then i wouldnt let her go....not unless i was going to.

Posessive feckers.. If I talked to ur gf, knew her for a while and we shared opinions sure I'd like to catch up if the opportunity presented itself.. Would I be muscling in or presenting any threat to her.. hell no..
I, like most humans, am a social creature.. We like to meet new people and compare viewpoints to gain another perspective on our own..
The whole net thing gets a bad rap but think about it from your perspective.. If you were going out to meet someone you knew online, what would be the purpose? Nothing sinister I'm sure.
We can only deal with the **** life throws us as it happens.. Don't allow the fear of what could happen to quash what could very well be a good thing.. should a negative situation present itself then act.
Until then show some trust and let life take its course.
