If we lose to Melbourne or stkilda, I want to see a few retirements and I want to see ""list management"" I don't think we can finish lower than 15th so that should be our aim.

- Send Ambrose back to the VFL for six weeks and tell him to concentrate only on offence. We know he has good attack on the ball and good defensive pressure, but he needs to add goal kicking to his game if we want him to be a long-term forward. Maybe give him a target of three/four goals in a single game before he gets called back to the AFL side
- Keep Fantasia in the side - great decision making for a young guy
- Gleeson's had a fair chance and has been okay, but looks to need a spell. Give Browne or Dalgleish a chance in that role
- Get McKernan in the team, no matter how tall/slow it makes us. He has to be rewarded for what he's doing.
- Hirdy/Coaches/whoever it is that chooses the team take a few risks. Every Thursday has been predictable. Drop a senior bloke or two to show no one gets gifted a game. Guys like Chappy/Howlett/Melsham/Ambrose(/Gleeson), who all at times have been good this year without being great, if they play two shockers in a row, send them to the VFL and give a young bloke a chance.

Hawthorn will be thinking they are give us the biggest hiding in league history in the game after the bye. It would be good to see Bombers beat the Hawks again and shock the football world.

Would be great to see the players show signs of enjoying playing the game. The players look miserable and this mindset is adding to their poor performances. Would be great to see some smiles similar to Hooker after the Match winning goal against the Hawks.

Would be great to see Dempsey and others with speed to take the defence on and make some runs that are full of risk but have great rewards if they get through. Colyer, Dalgleish and Fantasia should all play in the one team with the instruction given to run the opposition off its legs.

I'm not sure what my reaction would be if we beat Hawthorn. I'd be torn between happiness and inexplicable fury at where a performance like that has been the last 6 weeks.

I would like to see Dal getting another couple of games. If we have him and Colyer in the side we should be able to break more lines which will end up in more goals.

I haven't given up on the year. After the Hawks game, we have a lot of matches we can win + have a lot of players coming back from injury.
