Not really, we would basically be moving up 20 slots in the draft.

I reckon we will only have the minimum of three selections, so having a late first rounder, an early second rounder and late second rounder would be sweet.

I cant deny your Logic Law man ,3 Picks is probably all we have used when there has been an uncontracted player to be had but if we finish high we might go for four picks. I have become more comfortable with the talent of our draft team ,any draft team starts to earn its money from mid R2 on and over the last few years we have done very well with R3 picks and later.Last year , for what ever reason we used a very early R2 pick on Thurley which not exactly filled me with confidence that it was a great long term pick but the boys have credits in the bank and I'll trust them.Spriggs was p15 , having played 50 something games and is back to full strength in the leg he should be worth a R2 by himself to the right club, but due to our strength in the mids hes not getting a game and therefore is losing value in the V's.A couple of good games in seniors and he could be attractive to the likes of the Pies and the Dons.
Otherwise Id rather try a 3 way, to try to improve our overall list balance.Maybe to end up with someone like the under utilised Paul Johnson from WC, I did like our chances on Hanson but they have started to play him. Roll of the dice, I'd be willing to throw our 2nd pick in with him to get a player like Tim Walsh from the Roos, had some bad luck but could be good for us

I reckon we're still a chance to get Hanson, he's out of contract at the end of this year and hopefully he's getting a bit homesick.

One VFL standard player for another :D

Leon hasn't played twos all year............

Spriggs can't buy a game................

I don't think that trade would eventuate.
