What your avatar tells us

There's not much happening in the football world - December is arguably the quietest month. So now is the time to tackle the big issues, and one that often comes to mind for me is the avatar choice of posters on the Geelong board.

Four questions:

1. Who has the best avatar on the Geelong board? For me its Vinium Coupe
2. Whose avatar contradicts everything you think you know about the person behind it? My money is on Bobby_. Whenever I see that bemused face of De Niro I think "I can't take him seriously"
3. Who has the most perplexing avatar? Manboob, Pollywaffle
4. Who has the scariest avatar? For me, Jub Jub. Downright evil!

Sttew, I think your over thinking things as 95% of us are simple footy nerds who think we know everything but have boring meaningless jobs and even less insignificant lives in which we pretend to have full control over.
The avatar is simply a by product of that nerd-ism and should always be taken with a grain of salt.

No Bobby's avatar makes me think he is in his 60s, but judging from the games he recalls/doesn't recall I think he might be 30-40...

And how could i possibly get on a plane, fly 16000kms, turn up in LA, beat all the presidential security that exists at the Award shows, get backstage past said security, end up alone with the guy with the key to the trophy suitcase under the stage at Staples Centre, get him to take several shots of me with a Cats beanie on holding a Grammy, then escape without being caught?!?
Clearly not real…..

Sttew - mine has a bit of a back story. It is Ecce Homo painted by Elías García Martínez in 1930 and which resides in Sanctuary of Mercy church of Borja, Zaragoza. Now in August 2012. "Cecilia Giménez, an 80-year-old amateur artist living locally, painted over the fresco in an attempt to restore it". My avatar is that "attempt".
